Kentuckiana Chinese School (KCS) is a nonprofit organization dedicating itself to the promotion of Chinese culture and language heritage in Metropolitan Louisville area. KCS is an equal opportunity institution and is open to all students regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin or disability. The school started in 1970’s with about 10 students. Now the number has grown to over 100. The background of our students ranges from US, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and other conutries and territories.
We are using the simplified Chinese teaching material designed for the international students. All of our teachers have authentic Chinese language and cultural background. All the Board and staff members serve the KCS as volunteers.
